HM Inoculant is a silage additive/preservative which induces rapid and cool fermentation to reduce the loss of energy components in forage. This not only reduces your silage losses, but HM Inoculant treatment also increases the gross energy and digestibility of forage.
An average of 40 days more winter feed would be available from HM Inoculant treated silage compared to untreated silage, drastically reducing your silage losses.
HM Inoculant supplies a concentrated and complex mix of three specifically selected strains of lactic acid producing bacteria. These have been selected to function at different pH levels to give a more rapid fermentation. It is this that reduces silage losses.
